Ahmed and his family restored an old Berber Kasbah located in the center of the country with great enthusiasm and passion thus saving an attractive traditional buildings from decay.

Eight comfortable rooms with en-suite with hot water showers, a patio and eco-friendly people invite you to have a pleasant stay in Foum Zguid. A place for  meetings, fun, and interesting discoveries.

In the typical Berber lounge or outside on the terrace you can enjoy Fatima's exquisite cuisine (Tadjine, couscous, grilled meats, Moroccan pastries etc..) at an exceptionally  reasonable price. Relaxing, reading or meditating the silence, or  immersing  yourself in the environment of southern Morocco, make your holiday a pleasant adventure.

You can explore the surrounding areas, but also more distant from Foum Zguid: Ahmed's team will allow you to perform various types of hiking, a day or several days, with camels or donkeys, always assisted by the same Ahmed or Mohamed Taleb with the ability to bring your luggage and also you need for lunch.

Where? Here are some examples:

• Day trip (20 km) around Foum-Zguid visiting four Kasbah in the mountains and the oases of palm trees, ending with a welcome dinner upon return to the hotel.
• Hike in the direction of the Salt Lake Iriki to Mhamid, crossing the great desert of dunes and the possibility of accommodation in Berber tents.
• A brief tour by  4x4 jeep in middle of the desert dunes and the salt lake, combined with a hike, with possibility of an overnight stay in a nomadic tent: you can then discover the real life of the nomads, living an attractive and memorable experience
